Step number three to become a freelancer is to clarify your message and your offer then. So you've already decided what service you're offering, but now you need to figure out how to package it and frame it so that you're not just another graphic designer or just another freelance writer. This means you need to figure out exactly who your target customer is going to be. So are you going to write for magazines, or are you going to write for blogs? Are you going to write about food, or are you going to write about health? And then you need to decide how much you're going to charge for these services and exactly what you offer. So are you writing articles or are you writing books, or are you charging by the hour or the project? You also need to figure out marketing messages, which means that you need to figure out how you will convince people that hiring you would be helpful for them. This might mean you're saying I'll design a website for you and save a lot of time, or you might be saying I'll edit your videos for you so that your videos turn out better.

Basically, on these sites, businesses post about jobs that they're looking to hire for things like editing a video or writing an article for a blog. And then, freelancers can make profiles on these sites and then bid on the jobs that have been posted. One of the great things about doing this kind of online work is that over time you will find businesses that are looking to hire repeatedly, so you will slowly build up a roster of these long-term clients and help to fill up your entire work schedule. 





7- Build An Online Brand And Profiles On Freelancing Sites









The seventh and final step for freelancing is an ongoing process to build an online brand. Now you might think that you have a brand when you first set up your website, and maybe you design a logo or choose a fund and name your business. But actually, building an online brand is a long-term process that takes a lot of online work. First, of course, you have to decide what your brand looks like, especially what it sounds like. Who are your potential customers, who are you speaking to, what are you offering to them? All of that sets the foundation for building a solid online brand.
